Hi - Welcome! I’m Lisa and I’ll be sharing the things in life that make me giddy here at Life in Green, including gardening, food, and getting hands on with some indoor/outdoor diy projects!
Why Green?
1. I have a passion for growing anything green (read: flower & veggie plants). I love to garden and find nothing more exciting than watching a wee little seed turn into a jungle of foliage and fresh food. I’ll be sharing my gardening experiences including the ups, the downs and the tasty! I also love to cook and nothing is better than using fresh, home grown and local ingredients.
2. Green is my favorite color. Really.
3. The Earth is cool. Let’s keep it around and try to be a little more ‘green’. I’m not a sustainability expert but I do believe the little things count i.e: recycling, water conservation, etc. And growing your own food and eating/buying local can be very ‘green’.
4. I really do live in a city with ‘Green’ in its name….so yea I guess literally– this is my ’Life in Green’.
